The COVID-19 pandemic response is struggling with this situation and will also make future epidemics more worse if not attended properly.
Organizations like WHO, and major tech companies like Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, Microsoft, Reddit, Twitter, and YouTube are working to battle against misinformation and rumors, yet could not get the desired success. This has called for a multipronged interventions targeted to the grassroot level with unique strategies of communication.
In this, the Alliance for Pandemic Preparedness and Response is planning in coordination with experts to develop approaches to reach to target groups to busts the misinformation and rumors on pandemic.
APAR is a young alliance that target advancing health security through regional coordination.
