In a highly connected world suffering from varieties of challenges that are local, regional and global, the probability of next pandemic is quiet high. Climate change, urbanization etc have resulted habitat loss and thus have increased the chances of zoonotic diseases spillover across the world. Today, the world is threatened with large number of emerging and re-emerging pathogens.

Sustainability and survival against these large biothreat only depends on the collective global efforts where there are need for innovation, capacity building and sharing. It will create an atmosphere of trust and global solidarity where pandemic response will be fast, practical and socially acceptable.

Alliance for Pandemic Preparedness and Response will catalyze South-South Cooperation (SSC) to holistically and sustainably advance health and bio-security capacities in the global south while facilitating the health security dialogue with the North.
